I have an option to borrow a Marshall 1960 with greenbacks so it could be a head, but I'm also interested in combos. I'm not minted so it's probably going to be just the one for now. So I want to get a realy valve amp for my home studio. ![]() ![]() Even if I can't tell the difference anymore, I still KNOW it's not a physical amp and it bothers me. VSTs encourage you (well, me anyway) to adopt a conveyor-belt workflow that stifles creativity. Playing guitar through even great monitors is not the same as playing through a guitar amp speaker. I've been using VSTs like Neural DSP for ages to record with and it's cool and everything but it has its limitations, which are in brief and not limited to: ![]()
